Metabolism-Focused Nutrition

Personalised programmes built on your basal metabolic rate, blood work and daily rhythm that protect your metabolism.

What is Metabolism-Focused Nutrition?

Metabolism-focused nutrition is an approach in which a person's basal metabolic rate, body composition, blood work and daily rhythm are analysed so that energy and nutrient needs are calculated individually, and the plan is built for that person rather than taken from a standard list.

The same diet does not produce the same result in everyone. Each body's resting energy expenditure, hormonal balance, muscle-to-fat ratio and response to food is different. That is why the centre of my counselling is not “one list for everyone” but getting to know your metabolism first.

At the first consultation, body composition analysis, basal metabolic rate (BMR) calculation and, if available, your recent blood tests are interpreted together. How many calories, which macronutrient split and which meal pattern you need is then determined by measurement, not by guesswork.

Who is it for?

  • People who have dieted for years and regained the weight (yo-yo effect)
  • Those who say “I eat little but can't lose weight”
  • Adults over 30 who feel their metabolism has slowed
  • People with accompanying insulin resistance, thyroid or hormonal imbalance
  • Anyone who wants a sustainable, flexible eating pattern

How does the process work?

Metabolic assessment

Body composition analysis, basal metabolic rate, waist-to-hip ratio and your blood work interpreted together.

Personal macro plan

Protein, carbohydrate and fat distribution balanced to your energy needs; meals planned around your tastes.

Follow-up and fine-tuning

Progress is tracked at 1–2 week check-ins; the programme is updated according to your metabolic response.

What does the programme include?

  • Detailed body composition analysis and BMR calculation
  • Blood test interpretation (insulin, HbA1c, TSH, vitamin D, iron etc.)
  • Flexible personalised plan with exchange lists
  • WhatsApp support between sessions
  • Habit, sleep and stress management guidance

Frequently asked questions

Can metabolic rate really be measured?

Yes. In clinical practice basal metabolic rate is estimated reliably with body composition analysis and validated equations such as Mifflin-St Jeor. Muscle mass, age, sex and hormonal status all affect the result, so the programme is built on these data.

If my metabolism is slow, can I still lose weight?

You can. A “slow metabolism” is usually down to correctable causes: low muscle mass, irregular meals, insufficient protein, poor sleep and thyroid issues. With the right plan metabolic rate is preserved and weight loss becomes sustainable.

How long does the programme take?

It depends on your goal; most clients reach their target weight within 3–6 months of regular follow-up and then move to the maintenance phase. The aim is lasting results, not fast ones.
